Super easy, super healthy and super tasty!
Smoothie bowls are a real hit, just have a look on Instagram! They have become very popular recently. Being available in nearly every cafe they might compete with my irreplaceable and beloved oatmeals, however, they look much prettier.
Smoothies taste the best during spring and summer when all the fruit and vegetables are fresh and seasonal, however, even now you can make it really delicious by choosing apples or pears instead of strawberries or raspberries or by using more vegetables, courgette is always a good idea.
You can prepare a smoothie very quickly so maybe it is a perfect solution for those of you who do not have enough time in the morning and omit breakfast. It is also good to take to work or school and drink it instead of an unhealthy snack.
You only have to blend your favourite fruit and vegetables, optionally adding some nuts or seeds to make it more nutritious. Easy, isn’t it? I like them the most the slice of banana bread or granola.
You can either drink it or eat with the spoon. Just place the texture in a bowl (the thicker and smoother the better), add a few slices or pieces of fruits, your favourite toppings like nuts (roasted are even better) and seeds and create a smoothie bowl. It looks much more appetising than the first option and does not take much more time.
Being inspired by all those pretty Instagram pictures I couldn’t have done my own one! Get inspired and create yours! Here is the recipe for the best smoothie bowl ever:
INGREDNIETS:
- Kiwi
- Apple
- Pear
- Banana
- Lime
- Piece Of Ginger
- Spinach
- Chia Seeds
- Coconut Chips
METHOD:
Blend all the ingredients until the texture becomes smooth. If it is to thick you can add a bit of water or plant milk and blend it once again.
TO SERVE:
Place the texture in your prettiest bowl and start to decorate it. Add diced kiwi or banana slices if you prefer and top it with the chia seeds and coconut chips. I have also added eatable rose petals, but just omit it and add something you wish instead.
Enjoy it! Hope you like it!
