New year and new oatmeal recipe!
I think the season for the red oranges as open! This incredible colour and taste are everything that I need for breakfast. They are perfect with the porridge as well as in a fruit salad. However, since the temperature is low I definitely choose warm oatmeal with orange slices!
This breakfast idea is very simple and easy to prepare for everyone. It tastes as good as it looks, belive me!
INGREDIENTS:
- Oat Flakes
- Chia Seeds
- Flaxseeds
- Coconut Chips
- Coconut Milk (or any different plant one)
- Red & Normal Orange
- Homemade Granola
METHOD:
Preheat the pot, put the oat flakes (4 spoons is my perfect portion), chia seeds and flaxseeds and let them roast for a few seconds. Next, add plant milk to fully cover the oats, coconut chips and fresh juice from half an orange, I have chosen the red one. Cook it until there is no liquid in the pan and at the end stir it with the spoon to make it fluffier.
TO SERVE:
Serve your coconut porridge with both red and normal orange slices. Top your oatmeal with the best homemade granola and lastly sprinkle everything with red orange juice.
Do not forget to take a picture and enjoy your delicious breakfast!
